You should never attempt to capture anomalies outdoors when the temperature is below freezing or if there is any precipitation because conditions like these can cause false anomalies to appear. This photograph was taken under what are considered unfavorable conditions and I would normally not include it for that reason, but I do believe that this one is genuine.
On this day I was playing outside in the snow with the neighborhood children, happily snapping pictures and having a generally good time. The reason I find this particular photograph so interesting is because it was actually intended to be a picture of a child standing in the snow.
I immediately noticed the anomaly when I viewed the image in my camera, I printed it out and examined it closely. The child that I photographed is nowhere to be seen, you can however see a grayish-green mist to the left of where the child should be standing.
The mist is very complex and variegated with gold light and dark areas. All of the bright white dots are most likely snow flakes.
I took several more pictures of this child in the following days, all were normal.
